Northwood Homes for Sale

Centrally located in Myrtle Beach between 76th and 79th Avenues North, is a charming community of homes known as Northwood. The community of Northwood is a mature, well-established neighborhood in Myrtle Beach, featuring wooded lots and homes more than 20 years in age. Many of the homes in Northwood are all brick ranch homes, which reflects the popular style during the times when this community was built. The homes offer many charming features, and were mostly built under 2000 heated square feet, or slightly over 2000 feet. Though the homes in Northwood are extremely charming, the location is the main draw for interested buyers. Residents of Northwood have easy access to the Atlantic Ocean by either 76th Avenue or 79th Avenue, both which dead end at the ocean. Residents of Northwood can drive or walk to the beach, as it is only approximately ½ mile away. Residents are also close to numerous restaurants, gold courses, shopping, and award winning shows. This location is truly a great one, and the neighborhood is one of a few where the homes continue to sell at a rapid rate. As a matter of fact, all of the homes that have been listed for sale in Northwood in 2011 have sold, and we are more than half way through the year. Of course, the prices are another huge draw for interested buyers, as many of the homes within the community have sold for prices in the 100’s and 200’s recently. Take some time to look at the homes currently for sale in Northwood and call Beach Realty Group to discuss any questions you have about purchasing a home in the Myrtle Beach or Grand Strand area. You may also want to look at similarly located communities such as Antigua and Pine Lakes.
